The price of a Sak Yant tattoo in Moscow depends on the work being planned. A small geometric Yant and a large composition across the back require different preparation and tattooing time.
To estimate the cost, I need to understand your request, the placement and the approximate size.
What Determines the Price?
The main factors are the size of the tattoo, the complexity of its structure, the amount of sacred writing, the placement and the application method.
Size alone does not explain everything. A compact design with detailed writing may take considerable preparation, while a larger composition may have a more open structure.
Adding a Yant to an existing tattoo also requires attention to the relationship between the old and new elements.
Classical Designs and Individual Compositions
There are two approaches to preparing a Sak Yant.
You can choose an authentic classical design from the traditional base, or a composition can be prepared specifically for your request.
An individual composition is built from established forms and construction principles passed down through the line of training. Its preparation depends on the task and the elements needed.
My training and main practice follow the Khmer tradition. I also work with selected designs from the Thai line, which was the starting point of my Sak Yant practice.
Hand-Poked or Machine Application
I work with both traditional hand-poked application and a tattoo machine. The choice remains with the client and is discussed before the session.
The method is one of the factors considered when estimating the work.
How to Request a Price Estimate
When contacting me, send:
- A photo of the area where you want the tattoo.
- Its approximate size in centimetres.
- The design or type of composition you are considering.
- A short description of your request.
- Your preferred dates and application method, if already chosen.
If you have not selected a design, explain what you are looking for. We can begin with your request and discuss the appropriate form.
